MPs At Gunpoint
The frequency at which the taints of the Members of the Indian Parliament are being unveiled is alarming and spells doom for the Indian democracy. After the eleven MPs charged with taking bribe for asking questions in the Parliament, it is now the turn of seven others to be disgraced with the charge of accepting bribes for implementation of local area development projects. The competition among the news media is revealing the true nature of the representatives of the Indian people. However, before resorting to any legal punishment for the criminalised MPs, the genuineness of the evidences against them are to be examined. But if and when they are proved guilty, they are to be met with exemplary punishment of the order of disallowing them to fight in any government-forming election, for life.
