Countrywide Economic Zone

The Union Finance, Industry and Commerce Ministries should have a look at Jaithirth Rao’s insight into India’s Special Economic Zones. Economic reservations for certain parts of the country do not seem to be as noble an idea as promoting and sponsoring the socially backward classes in the country for educational and occupational upliftment. Perhaps it is now still not too late for India to restore economic equality in the country by abolishing the Special Economic Zones (SEZs). India, an economically developing country as it stands to be, can very well do without the practice of privileges to the SEZs.
