Militant on Rails
The Maoist militants are getting out of hand. Bihar has been deemed unsafe for train travel since long. But this time the way an entire train has been hijacked there allegedly by the Maoist rebels poses a new challenge to the country’s internal security mechanism. The RPF personnel strength has to be increased in trains passing through Bihar at night. Railways are still very much alive as the lifelines of the country. It is part of the Indian citizens’ basic duty to protect this national heritage which is a part of our culture. It is high time that the country’s administration took serious notice of the burgeoning Maoist menace and hit hard at them to root them out once and for all.
