Designer Showpieces Of No Use

The designer electric lamps modeled like antiquated gas lights bordering the approaches to the Park Street flyover are gathering dust due to no use. Only a few can be caught lit in the evening. If these lights are not meant to be illuminated, then there is hardly any point in keeping them as ornamental showpieces. The concerned authority should understand that beautification is incomplete without utilization.
