Better Mind Own Business First

Instead of making irresponsible comments against Shoaib Akhtar’s bowling action and thereby inviting uncalled for controversies, Team India coach Greg Chappell better concentrate on the actions of the Indian bowlers who are being battered in the series, with the hitherto unheralded Mohammad Asif from the opposition camp hogging all the limelight. There is no reason why Shanthakumar Sreesanth should be getting a place in final eleven ahead of Rudra Pratap Singh. Singh appears to score higher than his Keralite colleague on all cricketing points other than athleticism. The Rae Bareily lad is also a potentially better lower order hitter than Sreesanth, if Chappell’s stress on total cricket is emphasized.
