The Mahajot conceived by Mamata Banerjee will remain a dream unfulfilled if the Left Front oppositions in West Bengal continue to look after their own interests ahead of the interest of the State. In any case, the Mahajot chalked out by the Trinamool leader should not be an extension of her party in the sense of being an anti-Left Front coalition without any concrete ideology, the sole unifying factor being their opposition, if not bias, against the State Left Front. Such a negativist coalition, if somehow elected to power in the state, can only spell doom for the emerging industrialist state.
