Law Blind To Truth

It is unfortunate that the alleged murderers of Jessica Lal have gone unscathed. This only goes to show the inherent loopholes in the Indian law and order system, which can seemingly be manipulated at will to suit the selfish evil ends of criminals. The police has to take the onus of not ensuring safety to the witnesses, who have apparently tried to seal their own fortune first, caring a fig for the distressed family and well-wishers of the murdered lady. The acquittal of the alleged murderers can only further damage people’s already damaged confidence on the Indian legal procedures.
