Toxic Disposables

The Supreme Court decision to bar a French battleship from dumping toxic wastes in India is praiseworthy. Rules regarding disposal of such harmful wastes are to be made more stringent. However, the best option is to invent certain materials that would prevent the very use of materials that give out toxic wastes as by-products. Unless such environment-friendly products are put to use, no matter whatever international policies are adopted, the problem of such disposals will continue to worry people.
