Killer Quota

The fact that the quota system is being persisted with only goes to show that the Indian administration has been so far a failure so far as reaching the light of education all over the country is concerned. And of course, one of the worst kept secrets is that self-seeking politicians use this contitutionalised partisanism and sectarianism to swell their vote banks, caring a fig for the overall well-being of the country. Instead of continuing with such quotas at the higher education and the employment levels, the administration should make greater investments of effort, time and money to better the way in which education is imparted to the so-called 'backward' classes, right from the primary level.
