Free Rule

It is nice to find the strife between the Ambani siblings finally being solved. But, still, perhaps it would have been better had the Reliance empire remained intact. However, since the rift could not be mended, it is still better that the brothers have parted considering the interests of the shareholders. It remains to be seen how far the two brothers are now able to manage their individual stakes. One thing is eminently noticeable. In spite of the late Dhirubhai Ambani's honest efforts, 'Reliance' was never a hugely popular brandname, even after the house being the title sponsor of the 1987 edition of the ICC World Cup. But things changed almost overnight with the advent of Reliance Infocom when Reliance India Mobile was launched by the founder Ambani's two sons. So the prospects of the Reliance fragments are likely to be still far from being bleak.
