Sports Bug

On the one hand, there is China looking to conquer the cricket world within the next two decades, and the other, sports in their south and south-western neighbour are languishing in the quagmire of deep-seated corruption. However, it is still a healthy sign for Indian sports that the Prime Minster himself has decided to look into the present state of affairs at the Sports Authority of India (SAI). The honourable PM should understand that the sports administration in the country needs a complete overhauling. A modestly desirable model to emulate is not far to seek; a cue in this regard can certainly be taken from the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI).
