Radio Now

It is an inspirational move on the part of the Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry to free the airwaves for its easier utilisation by foreign radio channels. Radio, which was not long back left relegated to virtual oblivion, is now undergoing a boom. It is opening new vistas for the entertainment industry to explore and exploit, to provide complete consumer satisfaction. It thus also means plenty to cheer about for young people who wish join these channels as programme anchors, especially since radio anchors are these days elevated to the status of youth icons.
