Ironing Out Unemployment

The recently concluded Posco deal should usher a new era in the history of iron and steel industry in India as also in the realm of foreign investments in the country's basic industries. The Rs. 52,000 deal with its potential for generating 48,000 direct and indirect employments, should be particularly beneficial for Orissa and the Indian employment scenario in general. People from all quarters should support the implementation of the mega project, instead of deliberating on non-issues and demonstrating agitations against it.
