Whodunit

In the heat of the moment the Karnataka government had announced a prize money to be awarded to those responsible for the death of Veerappan. But now it is finding it increasingly difficult to single out the potential awardees. The tussle among the policemen in this regard is disgraceful on professional grounds, but justified on humanitarian grounds, nonetheless. It remains to be seen in what way and how fast the authority is able to untangle this issue. This should be a lesson at not making hasty and over-excited commitments.
