The concept of biogas train is innovative. If the concept can be put to practice, it is supposed to decrease the fuel cost for running trains, and perhaps more importantly, will reduce air pollution. But in any case, the experts should find a way out to increase the passenger capacity of such a train. Otherwise, it can hardly be a viable replacement for diesel or electric trains.
