The exclusion of Sourav Ganguly from the Asia one-day squad is not entirely unexpected. His recent form in international matches has been far from flattering. If he delivers the goods in the ongoing Sri Lanka tri-series, he can probably be considered for a berth in the continental squad. In any case, it is never a big deal when it comes to the matter of being selected in such squads.
