Foreigner Ban To Reduce Footfall

The All India Football Federation's decision to ban foreign players from all domestic tournaments except the National Football League is ridiculous and only emphasizes the federation's lack of foresight. Instead of such blatant display of xenophobia and confused thinking, the federation can look for better administration of football and implementing a scientific football calendar. The standard and popularity of domestic football have definitely heightened with the steady inflow of talented foreign footballers into the country's top teams. These foreign recruits, by their superior footballing skills, are actually inspiring and influencing the local youngsters to better their game.
