Technology For Upliftment
India has always been endorsing sticking to the traditions at least on pen and paper. Teaching of use of technology is often relegated to the background. One glaring instance, not far to seek, was the way former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Mr. Chandrababyu Naidu was made a butt of ridicule for giving unprecedented importance to computer literacy. Those who outrightly denounce e-mails and SMSs should remember that nowadays, many authors compose their books using the computer as the 'writing' tool. Also, computers require very little space for easily detectable documentation. Use of computers should be promoted by the government, especially since computer accessories are becoming cheaper and the softwares are becoming more and more user-friendly by the day.
