Police Attack On Economist

The attack on the eminent economist, Jean Dreze and his colleagues by CRPF jawans leaves one shocked. More nonsensical is the reason cited for the attack. How could a talk on 'Rozgar Adhikar Yatra', appear to be the preachings of Maoist rebels? This is a classic case of the country's security system gone out of wits. If such cases of police atrocities continue to occur, one will be forced to doubt the credibility of the selection and the training processes of the country's defence personnel.
