Wrong Method

The Team India selectors seem to have been swept off their feet by the emerging bunch of pacemen, so much so that they are forgetting to keep track of the basics, like whether the cricketer being selected is fit to play or not. They were apparently so elated by the pace that young Vikram Raj Vir Singh generates, irrespective of whether he is taking a few scalps or is just being taken for runs, that they included them in the national squad without adequate information regarding his current match-fitness. It remains to be seen how the thorough taskmaster Greg Chappell responds to this latest bit of thorough unprofessionalisms from the national selectors.
