CU Fund Allocations

One only hopes that the University of Calcutta will be able to make fruitful use of the Rs 100 crore grant it is due to receive from the Union Government. Apparently, a bulk of the amount will be used for conducting researches. But the University administration should also pay due attention to updating and overhauling the existing infrastructure wherever required, for better basic service to the education fraternity and the society at large. Sufficient attention should also be given to ensure the University personnel are well-trained for making the University services better available to those who need to avail them.
