Stirring Up Controversy
Andrew Flintoff has let off a controversy in writing in his autobiography that he was shot at during a match at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground in New Delhi in 2002. The Delhi Police seems to get into all sorts cricket-related controversies - the match-fixing fiasco involving Herschelle Gibbs and Nicky Boje, and now the startling imputation by Flintoff. Incidentally, the last match of the tour saw Flintoff taking of his shirt at the Wankhade Stadium, Mumbai, which was not quite 'gentlemanly', as per the traditions of the game.
