Care For Wild

Wildlife protection has always been a matter of secondary importance in India. However, offlate, with the worldwide stir for preventing the environment from degrading, India too has been paying more and more attention towards the protection of her rich variety of flora and fauna. The environment and forests ministry's decision to carry out a probe into the allegedly mysterious death of six Asiatic lions in the Gir forests of Gujarat is praiseworthy in this regard. However, preventing the poachers and illegal traders in forest products remains the matter of primary concern.
