Rainy Cricket

This is the season of retreating monsoons. So it is but natural that Chennai would be drenched by rain at this time of the year. The Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) should have considered this factor before setting the schedule for the ongoing India-Sri Lanka Test series. Instead of over-indulgence in the halo surrounding Greg Chappell, and the power clash between Sharad Pawar and Jagmohan Dalmiya, the BCCI should now get back to the business of managing cricket in the country.
