Indian In Air

One finds no valid reason as to why Indian Airlines had to change to 'Indian'. 'Indian' can stand for anything Indian under the sun and it need to specifically refer to domestic air transport service. The new logo too apparently has got nothing to do with air travel, though it relates to India. An image makeover was essential for the public air carrier to compete with private airlines. But more thought should have gone into the process.
