Pandal To Enjoy
If the pandal rules are adhered to, they are supposed to add to the grandeur of Durga Puja, rather than diminishing it. Usually a substantial part of the potential grandeur remains latent due to faulty planning of the pandals leaving very little space for crowd passage. There is, after all, no point in spending loads of money on out-of-the-world decorations, if people cannot enjoy the beauty, and grandeur, on the spot. It remains to be seen how far the traffic police can enforce the rules of the road or how far the Puja organisers can bypass them through the tricks of the trade.
