Overshadowed And Typecast

Antara Mali is yet to come out of the shadow of Urmila and create a niche of her own. She can act well and dance better. Perhaps she needs to get a bit out of the influence of her mentor Ramgopal Verma to establish her individuality. She is getting typecast in vivacious roles with loads of pelvic jerks and lots of stretching of the face muscles. As far as direction is concerned, she perhaps got over-excited with her maiden venture, failing to do justice to the potential rib-tickler, 'Mr. Ya Miss'.
