Looming Threat

The Delhi serial blasts in crowded market areas just before Diwali and Id show how shrewd the terrorists have become and also reveal how criminal activities can be pursued at will with the security and intelligence system having nothing to do. In this juncture, the common people themselves need to be always on their toes and be more than just the extra bit vigilant, in their own interest. Such terrorist activities are alarmingly becoming common in India and all the citizens need to remain against such acts of crime and co-operate with the police accordingly, instead of being utterly callous and irresponsible in just blindly criticising the police force, every time a crime is committed. The police are of course there to protect the people, but they can succeed only when the people themselves are fully committed to ward off any possible threat of terrorist activities.
