Welfare Health

A comprehensive health insurance for the citizens is a characteristic of welfare economies. Unfortunately, India has never seemed much bothered about this bit of public service. Minimal, or even substantial reduction of medicine prices is unlikely of being a long-term substitute for health insurance. However, first of all, the government needs to strengthen its programme for preventing the incidence of diseases.
