Striving For The Unknown

If people do not strive after knowing the unknown, no new discovery is possible. So, even if it appears that physicists are wasting precious time and money in beating the bush of apparently fruitless perusals, they should not stray from their goal of unearthing the unknown. This is even if the entire process is cumbersome and full of professional hassles.
