Size Does Matter

A number of times it has been claimed that a new planet has been discovered beyond Pluto in our solar system. But such claims have remained largely unverified. In fact, it is doubtful whether even Pluto can be considered to be a planet, which means that the very definition of 'planet' is murky. The crunch mater is that a heavenly body to be called a planet (literally, 'wanderer'), it has to revolve round a star in a fixed time and along a fixed route. But the problem issue is regarding the size of the body. Scientists are still not sure as to how big a heavenly body has to be for qualifying as a planet.
