The Jordan bombings only go to prove once again that terrorists are currently having a free play all the world over. England has faced the music this year, followed by Egypt and Indonesia. India too has been battered by bombings. Now it is Jordan's turn. The frequency and spread of such attacks are alarming and the UNO needs to call a special meeting of its member countries to chalk out short-term plans to counter terrorism, which shall operate simultaneously with their long-term counterparts. The time taken by the long-term plans is too big for allowing people to die helplessly at the hands of the merciless terrorists.
