It is an interesting revelation that genes determine homesexulaity and lesbianism at birth. It is sign of a healthy society that people these days are by and large no longer rigidly conservative about such one-time taboos. The role of science at the academic research level and that of the mass media in the information dissemination level, in breaking the ice can never be undermined.
