Demand Not Met

The violence in Cooch Behar surrounding the demand for a separate state is unprecedented. Such a demand is no new thing in this country. But the point of concern is the bloodshed, going to the extent of killing policemen. Those who incite people to get violent to such inhuman extents are to be singled out and dealt with exemplary punishment.
