To bring the upwardly mobile trend of students' suicides to a halt, the education ministry should introduce more job-oriented vocational courses and properly publicize them. There is no point in introducing manifold welfare measures at different levels without taking adequate care to let people know of their existence, and then how to derive benefits from them. But then again the healing touch should come from within. The near and dear ones of these youngsters in distress should make them realize and feel there are always so many options open to become successful in life. Apart the usual devotion, patience is the other need of the hour.
