Rescue Relief For Tsunami-struck
It is a matter of great concern that the areas worst affected by tsunami in India are now facing the threat of epidemic. Firstly, the administration could not forecast the disaster and now the infrastructure is proving to be woefully short of requirement when it comes to the matter of providing necessary relief to the affected people. Add to that the role the administration played in spreading confusion and panic with the warning of a possible tsunami on Thursday, December 30th. However, the relief workers deserve credit for the enormous effort they are putting in to ensure that those who have survived the tragedy are restored to their normal ways of living as soon as possible. It remains to be seen though how far and how fast this united effort bears fruit.
