Big Problems

It is amazing how the food industry can make the extra millions by catering to the special needs of genetically obesity-prone people. It is equally astonishing how insurance companies can vary their premium rates on the basis of the genetic make-up of their clients. On a more alarming note, people with an obesity promoting genetic make-up may not be considered for particular jobs. It will be tragic for someone to lose out on such opportunities for reasons over which he or she has the least control. Solving such problems would call for national and international level conventions.
