Terror Disturbing US Integrity
It is difficult to support the US decision of denying Narendra Modi a visa, on grounds of his potential involvement in acts that tantamount to infringement of people's right to freedom of religious adherence. This decision is all the more objectionable since no court of law has yet found Mr. Modi guilty of supporting communal disturbances. At the same time, Congress(I) deserves praise for once rising above petty party politics and considering the issue at a diplomatic level, with its full support towards Mr. Modi, whose being an Indian citizen is more important than his being a BJP man. And needless to say, the US better be taught a lesson with no delay, once and for all, so that it does dare no more to demean the constitution of a sovereign state. On the one hand, the US flaunts her Statue of Liberty, and on the other toys with the national pride of other countries. What else can be more hypocritical!
