Drugged To Doom

Every morning and evening one passing through Chittaranjan Avenue, among other common sights, almost everyday happens to see people sitting on the pavement adjacent to the Calcutta Medical College taking narcotic drugs. It is astonishing to find the police not taking any action against such unhealthy practices taking place regularly in an area where so many educational institutions and students' hostels are located.
